In this interview, Dr. Joseph V. Swintosky (Professor and Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Kentucky Medical Center 1967-1987), discusses his arrival at the Medical Center, the achievements of the College of Pharmacy, and the innovative clinical changes in curriculum pioneered by the College of Pharmacy. He discusses students, and broader educational issues in the state, and state funding. Swintosky also describes changes which have occurred in the Medical Center and distinctive impact and achievements.
