Scope and Content

This collection consist of three journals. Two of the journals contain Harriet Stone's name. One is undated and is obviously a school copy book that is filled with thoughts on various virtues and ideals. The other, dated from 1860-1866, is an autograph and sentiment book filled with love poems and testaments of friendships. The third book is dated 1841 but has no owner name inscribed in it. The donor, however, indicated that this book also belonged to Harriet.
