Scope and Content

This collection is a notebook, dated 1935-1936, once owned by Ocea Broyles Pendygraft and compiled while at Eastern State Teachers College in Richmond, Kentucky. The materials reflect Pendygraft's study of the geography and geology of Kentucky. Clippings, postcards, and bulletins from the Kentucky Game and Fish Committee are contained in the notebook. Also included are brochures from Kentucky colleges such as Eastern State Teachers College, University of Kentucky, Centre, Morehead, Berea, and Western State Teachers College. A high school library handbook and a pocket manual to the forest trees of Kentucky are included as well.
