Scope and Content

This volume is a copy of the original volume of field notes kept by Henderson when he was appointed by the Kentucky General Assembly to survey west of the Tennessee River in 1820. The copy was made in 1877 by William Byrd Page and J.B. Hoeing, who worked for the Kentucky Geological Survey.
