Speeches and writings examine states' rights and the U.S. Constitution, and admitting Tx. into the Union. Items of note include a firsthand description of Daniel Boone and autographs of Worden Pope and Peter Benson Ormsby. Other material includes receipts, newspaper clippings, short stories, and a published genealogy of the Ripley family.
