1. SWEARING-IN CEREMONY President’s Office Wells Hall July 16, 2004 10:00 a.m. Oath of Office Administered to Mr. Alan C. Stout, Ms. Jessica Reed, Dr. Terry Strieter and Mrs. Vickie Travis In keeping with Section 164-321 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, Govemor Emie Fletcher, June 30, 2004, appointed Mr. Alan C. Stout, 2807 US 641, Marion, KY, 42064, to replace Mr. Wells T. Lovett whose term had expired. Mr. Stout will serve as Regent until June 30, 2010. Govemor Fletcher also appointed Mrs. Vickie C. Travis, 2225 Edinborough Drive, Murray, KY, 42071, to replace Mr. Sid Easley whose tenn had expired. Mrs. Travis will serve as Regent until June 30, 2010. Ms. Jessica Reed is President of the Murray State University Student Government Association and qualified to serve as Student Regent. Ms. Reed’s term of office is July 1,2004, through June 30, 2005. Dr. Terry Strieter was re-elected by faculty members to serve a second year tenn as faculty regent. Dr. Strieter’s term will expire June 30, 2007. { The Oath of Office was administered to Mr. Stout, Mrs. Travis, Ms. Reed and Dr. Strieter ` by Mr. Sid Easley, past Board Chair and Notary Republic of Kentucky. 1 .
