Scope and Content

This collection is comprised of 18 documents of various record types. Included are deeds for land in Jefferson (1826 & 1842) and Oldham (1831 & 1847) counties, and a 1798 deed for land in Vincennes (IN.), Northwest Territory. Also included is a 1836 bill of sale for a slave named Henry, tax receipts for 1847 & 1848, and an 1866 unissued stock certificate for the Rotary Steamboat & Carriage County of Louisville.
