Scope and Content

This one item collection is a scrapbook, dated ca. 1918, containing newspaper clippings about women's participation in World War I at home and on the front. Articles concern the U.S. Student Nurse Reserve, the Woman's Committee, Kentucky Division, of the Council of National Defense; the Army School of Nursing; application of Mary Lee Hickman, Louisville, Kentucky, for service in the Army School of Nursing; and other work in aid of the war effort.
