FRED BOND
Fred Bond, 72, of Danville,
died Sunday, April 15, 2012.
Born in Winchester to the
late Charlie Floyd and Stella
Fallen Bond, he was a forklift driver for Rockwell International Implements and
was a security guard at
Ephraim McDowell Regional
Medical Center for the last
seven years.
He was a member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints and volunteered at Kentucky School
for the Deaf for many years.
He is survived by his wife,
Lillie Byrd Bond; four daughters, Leslie Bond, Debra
Miller, Elizabeth Stratton
and Teresa Ross, all of Winchester; two sons, Frederick
Byron (Katherine Church)
Bond of Danville, and
Michael Brandon (Robin)
Bond of Bowling Green; nine
grandchildren, Chris Bond,
Steven Miller, Ashley Strat-
Police/fire
ton, Drew Isaacs, Chelsey
Ross, Abigail Bond, Dakota
Bond, Gabriel Bond and Torrie Bond; two great-grandchildren, Darius Blaine
Stratton and Ashton Cole
Curtis; and two sisters,
Brenda (Gene) Carver of
Jacksonville, Fla., and Ann
(Dewey) Pope of Winchester.
He was predeceased by a
brother, Woody Fallen.
Funeral service will be at 1
p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.
Pallbearers will be Byron
Bond, Brandon Bond, Paul
Byrd, James Byrd, Christopher Byrd and Conrad Hicks.
Visitation will be from 5 to
8 p.m. Wednesday at Stith
Funeral Home in Danville.
Burial will be in Junction
City Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart
Association.

passed away Monday, April
16, 2012, in Crestwood.

T.G. MCKNIGHT
T. G. McKnight, 79, of Winchester, husband of Loretta
“Jo” Henson McKnight,
passed away Sunday at his
home.
A native of London, Ky., he
was born May 26, 1932, to
the late Curtis
McKnight and
Martha Bowling George.
He retired as
a substation
foreman from East Kentucky
Power.
He was a United States
Army veteran and member of
Central Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he
is survived by one son, Mark
Alan McKnight of Winchester; sister, Daisy M. Baker of
London, Ky.; brother-in-law,
Larry (Ann) D. Henson; sister-in-law, Mary McKnight;
and several nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death
by one brother, H.B. McKnight.
Graveside services will be
Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the
Old Salem Cemetery in London.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at
the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral
Home, 289 S. Main St.

ANNA JEAN PROFFITT
WARNER
Anna Jean Proffitt Warner,
widow of T.H. Warner, passed
away Friday, April 13.
She was an 89-year-old native of Frenchburg, daughter
of the late Preston James
and Susie Mae Patrick Proffitt, a homemaker and member of the Baptist church.
She is survived by three
daughters, Wanda (Dwayne)
Martin and LaQueta Orr,
both of Winchester, and
Frieda Sparks of Florida;
three sons, Clayton (Emmalou) Warner of Nevada,
Raymond (Peggy) Warner of
North Carolina and Jerrold
(Sherry) Warner of Winchester; 19 grandchildren; 34
great-grandchildren; 13
great-great-grandchildren;
and a sister, Evelyn Marie
Hudson of Mount Sterling.
Visitation will be Tuesday,
April 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at
Herald & Stewart Home for
Funerals in Mount Sterling,
with burial in Machpelah
Cemetery at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
