This 11 item collection dates from October 10, 1883, to July 1897. The collection consists of a company report, shipping orders for Gatling Guns and accessories, lettes regarding guns and directions for assembling the gun in 1883, a price list for the guns, and two unrelated items. The first unrelated item is to the Military Information Office, Lt. Wipple, assigned to the Kentucky militia, from the Secretary of War, and is dated 1897. The document is a list of duties Wipple is to perform. The second item is also to Wipple regarding field equipment. The hightlight of this collection is the Report on Improved Gatling Guns. It is 17 pages in length, with charts and other illustrations. It was prepared and stamped by the Gatling Gun Company in 1883. The primary author of the letters concerning Gatlin Guns was R. J.
