Blair said Jack Passmore of Norton, Va. , has been employed to manage the new store. Pass- more, a registered pharmacist, is married to the former Marv Glenn Jenkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arch Jenkins of Whites burg. Passmore's father formerly operated a drug store Here. The store will be located in the J. H. Frazier building at the cor ner of Main and Court Streets. The firm bought out Phil's Lunch ano toolroom, wnicn tormerly occupied the quarters, and will occupy the entire first floor of the building, which is owned by vviuie Lucas. Kemodellng of the drug store quarters will begin in a iew aays, mair added. (Phil Bowen, operator of Phil's Lunch, plans to open a new lunch counter in the basement of the Daniel Boone Hotel in space formerly occupied by Ivol Back's Shoe Repair Shop.) Blair said the drue store will have all new equipment and will be air conditioned. It will have public restroom facilities. The store will be operated as a store.
